Harnessing the vast offshore wind energy resource
Sara C. Pryor, Professor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and Rebecca Barthelmie, Professor in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, have started work on a new research project designed to unlock the power of the wind along the US eastern seaboard. The project is jointly funded by the U.S Department of Energy and NYSERDA.
