Odalys Callejas

Biography

Odalys is a Latina, first-generation, Ph.D. student and Dean’s Scholar. She recently earned her B.S. in geology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she investigated lower crustal xenoliths from the Siberian Craton to understand the formation and evolution of continents. Outside of research, she enjoys kayaking, art journaling and volunteering in her local community.
