Kayla Russo

Biography

Kayla Russo is a first-year Ph.D. student in Dr. Nicole Fernandez’s lab group. She grew up on the south eastern coast of Georgia which was a prime spot to ignite her passion for earth sciences. Kayla’s research is focused on finding rates of clay formation and how clay formation impacts the global silica cycle. Outside of the lab you will probably catch her either roller skating or playing a video game.
