Biography

Hunter Jamison is a first-year Ph.D. student working with Dr. Nicole Fernandez. He grew up in the central valley of California and did his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. While at Berkeley, Hunter majored in environmental earth science and worked as a field technician at the Eel River Critical Zone Observatory. His research interests are primarily tied to water isotopes in the critical zone, with a particular focus in when/where trees uptake water! If he’s not in the lab or field, you can usually find him at a climbing gym or training for his next ultra-marathon out on the trails.
