Remote Sensing
Remote sensing and image processing
The overall research goal for Remote Sensing is to optimize the use of data collected from satellite and aircraft for inventorying and monitoring environmental resources. Emphasis is in the field of optical remote sensing, both passive and active, and digital image processing, particularly as it applies to spectral image data.
