Martin J. Evans will be a Mary Shepard B. Upson Visiting Professor in Engineering for 2016-17 academic year.
Martin J. Evans, Anadarko International Oil and Gas Director of International New Ventures, has been elected as one of the Mary Shepard B. Upson Visiting Professors for the 2016-17 academic year. Evans is also an adjunct professor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Currently residing in Texas, Evans received his Ph.D. from the University of Wales & Liverpool University. His primary responsibilities at Anadarko International Oil and Gas in Houston are to develop new core areas to complement and grow Anadarko's existing portfolio, to lead international business development to evaluate and capture new business worldwide, and develop conventional and unconventional resources with a significant focus on low permeability reservoirs.
