Natalie Mahowald will be lead PI on a new $3M NSF award

Natalie Mahowald will be lead PI on a new $3M NSF award titled, Collaborative Research: Improved Regional and Decadal Predictions of the Carbon Cycle. Rob Ross, EAS Adjunct, Christine Shoemaker (CEE), and Peter Hess (BEE) are co-PIs.  Their press release indicates that the "new NSF grants seek to improve predictions of climate change and how it will affect Earth's future".  Mahowald will also be co-Investigator on another NSF grant, with PI Gennady Samorodnitsky (ORIE) and Mircea Grigoriu (CEE) co-Investigator .
