Lohman Receives Tenure and Promotion
Rowena Lohman has received tenure and promotion to associate professor effective April 1, 2015. Lohman's current research involves the imaging and interpretation of deformation within the tectonically active portion of the subsurface of the earth. This depth range is home to fault zone processes that present hazard to communities globally, and hosts many of the energy resources that society is currently exploring. Her primary observation tool is geodesy, which measures changes to the shape of the earth at large and small scales. She is also expanding her interests to include the analysis of seismic data.
